The AGA Atlanta Chapter is pleased to award the 2009-2010 AGA Atlanta Chapter Scholarship to Mr. Jake Hersko. Jake has been awarded the Chapter's $1,000 scholarship for 2010. He is a graduate student at Georgia State University majoring in Public Finance and Management in the Master of Public Policy Program and expects to graduate in May 2011. In addition to strong academics, he is involved with the Habitat for Humanity, and is a member of numerous government organizations such as the Government Finance Officers Association and the Association for Government Accountants. Jake is currently an intern for the City of Roswell's Finance Department. The Atlanta Chapter congratulates Jake on receiving this award and commends him on his accomplishments. We wish him success in both his educational and career pursuits. |
